86-93 Ford Mustang 5.0L Intake Manifold

Utilizing over fifteen years of EFI only experience – BBK has re-written the chapter on Mustang performance. With a lower manifold that features an open runner design for cooler intake air mixture and identical runner shapes for equal air flow distribution and an upper manifold that features a standard 75mm throttle opening that allows the use of any 65-75mm Throttle body and high torque twin plenums for great street performance.

The BBK SSI Intake manifold comes complete with a BBK high-flow billet aluminum fuel rail kit which delivers maximum fuel flow and works with all performance ignition distributors at the front of the engine block with no clearance issues.

This SSI manifold was also designed with removable baffle plate that reduces weight and allows easy installation of nitrous oxide jets into each runner. Another great feature is the Air Flow gap between each runner – this provides greater cooling for the upper to help reduce heat soak. This manifold was also designed with a built in EGR mount.

ALL BBK Intake manifold come complete with, all necessary hardware, gaskets, and installation instructions.

By improving over the factory Z06 Corvette intake manifold – The BBK engineers were able to come up with a unit that delivers 12-15 additional rear wheel horsepower on the already hot Z06 and 18-24 horsepower on the base LS-1 equipped GM models. Such highlights include a standard 85mm straight through design throttle inlet and low restrictive rounded runners for maximum horsepower as well as improved low end torque for great street or strip performance.

For additional power gains and value – we also offer an intake manifold kit with one of BBK 's popular Power Plus Series performance throttle bodies. This new intake manifold is available with a standard titanium powder coat finish or Polished (manifold only).

For ease of installation this BBK SSI-Series manifold utilizes factory rubber o-ring gaskets and includes all required mounting hardware for installation.

This BBK SSI-R Intake manifold is re-writing the chapter on Mustang performance – with a lower manifold that features an open runner design for cooler intake air mixture and easy adaptation for Nitrous injection, 80mm throttle body opening, maximum street / Track performance.

All BBK SSI Mustang Performance Intake manifolds include anodized high flow billet aluminum fuel rails and a durable Silver powder coat finish.
