For all of the customers that demand proper idle quality, which in turn grants the finest in driveablity, PERRIN Performance products introduces a fully recirculated blow-off valve.  Similar to the stock BOV, the PERRIN recircBOV keeps vented air inside the intake system, thereby keeping the ECU functional and running smoothly.  Blow-off valves that vent to the atmosphere may in many circumstances run rich between shifting that causes back fires, idle issues and partial throttle driveablity on vehicles that have MAF sensors.  The problems that exist is due to metered airflow, which the ECU thinks is being ingested by the engine and then expelled to the atmosphere.  Many of the more customer popular cars with MAF sensors include the Subaru WRX/STI, Legacy GT, Forester XT, Mitsubishi Evolution, Nissan GT-R and many more turbo cars.

With the PERRIN BOV, there is no reason to add more washers or change the spring to allow it to hold more boost. Our BOV's work very different than others in that there is no need to have a spring to hold boost! The boost pressure is applied to the back of the piston to keep it closed thereby helping keep the piston from lifting prematurely.  This allows the BOV to hold to a higher degree an almost unlimited amount of boost!
